We go the extra mile: to create leather that is faultless, unblemished and premium.
There is only one way of crafting good leather: with patience; an eye for detail; and the expertise of years of observation and scrutiny. We visually inspect each hide for the closest features; if we don’t find any, we continue looking.
We do not believe in conventions and norms. We go against the flow. Always.
We use the 306 grade stainless steel which is used in building automotive and watch making industries. Unlike mild steel which is just dipped in chrome and covered, many hours are spent in cutting, buffing and polishing the stainless steel which doesn’t chip or rust.
Real aluminium melted from ingots and moulded into dye cast stuff. Hours and hours of buffing and polishing results in master piece,
you would love to feel.
What appears on the outside does not determine the strength of character; what is on the inside does.
Our plywood veneers are made from woods like – Mahogany, Cherry, Walnut. Each layer of wood is oriented with its grain running at right angles to the adjacent layer making it stronger and more stable. To avoid wastage, our logs are rotary cut or sliced. A versatile material, plywood can be used in a variety of products of different shapes and sizes.
We believe that real beauty lies in the minute precisions.
In the olden days wooden slabs of 3-4 mm thickness were individually hand-cut using U-saws and chisels. Each piece would then be carefully placed according to the wood grain and colour. Our aim, at Stanley, is to recreate the beauty of the past with our techniques and artisans.
